Call other wives for the good intel!!!!
Reply:I'm not sure if it's just for the Army or not, but I'm a pretty new Army Wife, and my dental is provided by United Concordia. If that's who yours is by, go to their website, and you can sign up with your sponsors info (your hubby), and it'll give you your eligibility. Same with with Tricare (health insurance).
I think that's what you were asking for?
Reply:Well here are the websites:
Tricare (you will have to choose Prime or Standard) is for medical insurance such as broken bones, shots, child birth, that type of thing. You can be seen at any Military Hospital:

You don't pay any extra monthly fee for this insurance. And coverage is also based on what region you are in.
The Dental Insurance is called United Concordia or also called Tricare Dental Plan:

This plan you pay a monthly fee for to have it. This is the price for it each month:

Stateside: 1-800-866-8499
Overseas: 1-888-418-0466

You can also go into the local post hospital and go to the Tricare Adviser and ask for a booklet on their policies and information. The tricare website also has a book that you can read and download: http://www.tricare.mil/mybenefit/Downloa...
Hope this helps and good luck with being a new military spouse. If you have any other questions, ask away.
Reply:If your husband is active duty, schedule as many appointments as you need,on post, you will be taken care of.
