Can we use an EU national health service out of the UK, I was thinking of Polish dental treatment (implants)?

Can the Polish use our NHS ?

You will need a European Health Insurance Card which entitles you so use the health service in any EU country. I think then it depends on what that particular service provides. I suspect you may have to pay in Poland for that sort of dental treatment as you do in the UK but I would think it is much cheaper if you do. If you want the card I suggest you check the web site www.nhs.uk
Reply:Yes you can, provided that there is a reciprical arrangement between UK and the EU country you intend to visit.

What you need to do is go to your GP and fill in a form. Not sure what the form is called, but it should allow you to use NHS equivalent servicies in other EU countries, such as Poland.

I'm not sure exactly what's on this website, but check it out anyway. It seems to relate to your questions.

There are loads of sites like the one above. Just type "nhs patients going abroad" into your Google slot and it will take you there.
