Can an NHS dental crown give me heavy metal poisoning or any ill health?

if the problem happened from the verey day u wore this crown and started deteriorating it might be a rare allergic reaction to that...but you'd better refer to ur dentist to discuss ur problem!

Not normally. Crowns w/ metal bases are usually made of silver, gold, or stainless steel mainly. Some can contain traces of nickel or other metals (not mercury) which some people w/ severe metal allergies can have reactions to, but this is very uncommon.
