I cannot get a health care card & cannot afford dental work. What can I do?

Call your local dental school. I'm sure they have a student or two who would love to learn on your mouth for a deeply discounted price.

I cannot get a health care card %26amp; cannot afford dental work. What can I do?
Do you need a dentist? I haven't been in 10 years and have insurance?! Try looking up welfare dental providers if you need something. OR: JUST GO! They'll bill you for it and can't do a thing about it as long as you pay 10 or 20 bucks a month!
Reply:go to your county and get aid
Reply:Some community colleges teach a dental hygiene class and they need volunteers for basic x-rays and cleaning procedures. Also look for the university that teaches doctors and dentists, they may be able to refer you to a dentist that will help you for a lower fee. Good luck.
Reply:You can apply for Care Credit. It is like a credt card for dental and medical services. And you don't have to have perfect credit to be approved. If you are not approved you can get a co-signer on the card.
Reply:I have the same problem. We either get our teeth pulled, or write Oprah and beg her to help us with our teeth! *cries*
Reply:do what I did - go to Mexico. The same work that a US dentist wanted over $5,000 for (extractions and a dental plate) I'm having done in Tijuana for $1100.
Reply:Some colleges that have classes for Dental hygentist and whatnot do cheap work
Reply:I have a great discount dental plan. The savings are up to 80%. It is only $11.95 per month for single and $19.95 for a whole household. I have been telling everyone about this plan. My mouth feels and looks so much better now that I can afford a dentist. If you have no coverage I urge you to check them out. It is so worth it!
