Also Does anyone know how to look for a good health inssurance plan? I am new at this. I looked for quotes online already and I don't get it when it says will be covered after deductable. PLEASE HELP!
Health and Dental insurance???
As a former Navy enlisted man, I didn't realize how complex and expensive health insurance was until I got out. That was in december 1988. Now, I sell it.
Yes, it is much more complex than you can even imagine. When you look at those sites, you can get a comparison of the price, but you don't get someone who will help you understand the benefits.
When you start looking for insurance, you will have to find an insurance agent in WI to help you get enrolled in a plan. Of course, if your husband had a job waiting for him when he got out, you could guarantee coverage, if the employer offers it.
If you would like help understanding what you are getting yourself in for, feel free to contact me here and I can give you some help.
Good luck with the baby. Congratulations.
Reply:Health insurance is like any other kind of insurance. You pay a monthly amount, called a premium, to an insurance company in return for 'benefits', to be paid out as needed. Depending on the kind of plan that you choose, those benefits might include regular doctor's office visits, checkups, emergency room services and hospitalizations, and treatment by specialists. Some health insurance plans also offer benefits that are called 'wellness benefits.' like discounts on health club memberships, stop-smoking classes, and nutritional consultations.
