For dental health is Listerine worth to use?

How often should you use it? Should you rinse before AND after brushing or after brushing?

Suggestions?

For dental health is Listerine worth to use?
Well I do just for the heck of it. BUt Listerine is really good to use on dental it's one of the best toothpaste/mouth wash around!
Reply:i would use it after i have eaten my breakfast then brush my teeth because it would kill the germs and then the toothpaste would kill more germs
Reply:If you have a problem with dry mouth, the alcohol in Listerine can make it worse, and contribute to gum problems instead of helping you. You can use a product like Biotene instead. It doesn't contribute to dry mouth. If you don't have a problem with dry mouth, Listerine is probably good. I rinse after brushing, but I don't know if when you use it matters.
Reply:My dentist sez it's great after brushing for wiping out bacteria,

but because of it's fine taste he gave me an alternate that didn't

taste as bad (and don't do as good of a job)
Reply:Listerine helps to fend off bad breath and keeps the germs at bay. Use it AFTER brushing your teeth at least twice a day..
Reply:well the most important thing for your dental health is to brush properly your teeth.Listerine is used after brushing and should be used in the amount and the time that is written in the bottle once a day. More often use could damage your enamel.
