Serious answer: Water.

It helps alot, it can cut tooth decay by around 70% I'm sure you are thinking of something else though.
Reply:10 drops of Stevia in water.

Also Xylitol will do it.

they are both natural sweeteners that prevent tooth decay.
Reply:I can only think it was to flush your mouth with water, to disolve any residual sugar and wash away any other detritis.
Reply:That is interesting. I have never heard of that. I have heard of rinsing with water after each meal, or snack. Nothing else though, it sounds wrong. Not saying it is wrong, but don't understand how sugar would ever help promote less tooth decay.
Reply:My dentist gave me a couple of tips, and yes, wash with warm water too. he said 1) wait 20 minutes so the saliva can do its natural job and so you don't scrape acid from something like an orange all over yer teeth. 2) he said a soft brush is better. So! I said, how do I get at the little places in between? Easy! he said and showed me a packet of four toothbrushes not 2 inches long. Now, there was a story that a footballer in the English 1st division was taken abroad for dentistry because he had a back problem. It turned out that he was scrubbing his teeth so hard his gums caught an infection which spread to the rest of his body, particularly his back.
